Universal Law is absolute – Even more so than the so called Law of Gravity. These are the laws that govern our life in a very real sense. If you doubt my comment about Gravity just look at a bumblebee. Those things defy logic! Universal Laws have a strong impact on the quality of our lives. If we use them intelligently it can make life much easier for us. All laws are subsets of The Law of Cause and Effect and are really only descriptions of aspects. This is why many are so similar.
Universal Laws are an attempt to define a structure to this reality. This whole thing has been overly intellectualised and in so doing the essential truth has been lost. They describe the appearance, not the substance.
If you need a rule structure, consider this. The Law of One “all is one” or more completely “all is energy and energy is mutable” describes the structure and the Law of Cause and Effect loosely defines how to use it. Many of the so called laws are really only applied psychology. The other “laws” describe different aspects and properties of the same structure. Often from differing points of view. In the end, we are only describing the functioning of the mind.
I had an old friend who regularly said “all the same which one” which is a pretty succinct description. He was a deep thinker who had little use for people.
This is a virtual reality – there is the I AM or consciousness which connects with the mind which interprets the map. I know – it sounds like a computer game – well it is very like a computer game.
The I AM is the consciousness, the awareness, the illusion of ME. The mind is the program which includes our belief system filters and reads and writes the map. The map is the dataset describing our reality – our body, the landscape, relief, colour, texture, feeling, movement, frequency, time etc. The map can be read and written. Overall a very simple system that can lead to immense complexity and flexibility.
If the concept of “All is One” is too large to accept then it may be simpler to process in bite sized chunks.

The Law of One
We are all one. Every action taken by anyone is reflected by all and in all.
The Law of One states that all is energy and energy is mutable. In my opinion, this is the primary law of the universe. All others are aspects of this one law in that they relate to the use or functioning of this law.
The Law of Energy or Vibration
The Law of Energy and Vibration states that all energy has an intrinsic frequency or rate of vibration. This does not mean that an energy has only one frequency because it is the nature of energy to be complex.
The Law of Cause and Effect
The Law of Cause and Effect describes the Newtonian response of “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction“. Even this is only an appearance describing an innate feature of the mind – the ability to access the map.
The Law of Sequence
Each event leads to another in perfect sequence.
The Law of Karma
Firstly, the Law of Karma is NOT payback. If you are a villain you are just a villain – the universe believes in what is not what should be, it does not judge. Your morality is part of your current level of understanding – nothing more, neither right nor wrong – just is.
This existence is all about learning and experience, Karma defines the experiences needed to approach the next lesson. It provides experiences tailored to assist you to develop the strength and understanding needed for the next great learning. If your villainy is holding you back, you will unlearn villainy, otherwise you carry it with you until it becomes a liability. Who knows, it may be useful.
The payback concept is a religious one – ever notice how many religions use fear as a motivator?
The Law of Abundance
As “all is energy” and the universe is infinite, you can never run out of energy. There is enough for every purpose. In fact, the whole concept of “amount of energy” is somewhat misleading.
The Law of Abundance is the appearance of infinite energy. It does not take much energy to read and write to the map, thus it takes the same energy to move a mountain as a feather.
Remember that as this is a virtual reality, the consciousness (the I AM) is your awareness of what is presented to you by the mind which is a program interpreting “the map”.
You can make changes to the map that are either small or large – all require the same amount of “energy”.
It takes little energy to read and modify the map beyond a supreme confidence that you can.
The concept of “amount of energy” is thus only a description of an appearance not a fundamental truth.
Law of Transmutation of Energy
Energy is an effect – it not real, it is an appearance. As such as “All is energy and energy is mutable” means that the virtual reality can serve up any thing or experience and can change those things and experiences as required with minimal expenditure of effort.
The Law of Polarity
At this level duality holds sway, we have light and dark, wet and dry, male and female, yin and yang and so on. It is the key to the lessons of this level in this realm. It promotes a desire for unity in existence.
The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like”. As a description it is somewhat misleading. It describes a method to manifest goals and affirmations. It may be better described as the Law of Belief.
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you can conceive and believe you can achieve. It really is only an application of the Law of Cause and Effect relating to manifestation.
The Law of Correspondence
The Law of Correspondence “As above, so below” is taken directly from the container originally holding the Emerald Tablets. This verse forms the essence of the Hermetic teachings (so called because Hermes Trismegistus was the author).
It refers to the alignment of the frequencies. First is formed the image in the subtle ethers which gains form and materialises in this coarse realm. The map has many layers describing levels and realms.
The Law of Momentum
An exercise in psychology, but real in its own way.
The Law of Momentum states that “There can be no change without movement“ or more bluntly “if you want it done, get off your butt and do it”. This means that nothing new will happen unless there is energy added. To make anything happen, we must put forward some effort. When considering this law think “Work smart not hard“. More a case of common sense than a law of the universe, but true nonetheless.
Work Smart – Not hard
The example above of lifting a heavy weight up a couple of floors of a building is a classic as it uses a bit of clear thinking and the effects of multiple laws.
- Cause and Effect – We desire the weight to be moved, so we set things in motion to make it so
- Attraction – We use a heavy counterweight to balance our load
- Momentum – The weights will not move until we grab hold and supply the extra energy by pulling on the rope
We could of course just pick up the weight and muscle it up the stairs. This is the hard and obvious way to do it.
